To Industry:

  • Provide advice, and conduct research into Security Assistance policy issues.  Will work directly with ASC, AFSAC, AFMC, AFSAT, SAF/IA, and DSCA to resolve policy issues.  Extensive knowledge of DoD policy (DoD 5105.38-M Security Assistance Management Manual) and USAF policy (AFMAN 16-101 International Affairs and Security Assistance Management).
  • Assist with the development, and track processing by USAF agencies (ASC, AFSAC, AFSAT, SAF/IA, DSCA) of the Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA).
  • Assist and advise on all aspects and role of contractor in LOA presentation to the foreign country Air Force.
    Following LOA acceptance, provide advice, assistance and tracking of all program elements (FMS Case Lines) required to maintain activation schedule.
  • Provide advice on and conduct research into, all areas of Security Assistance management, to include problem resolution and performance improvement.
  • Assist with preparation for meetings with the foreign country and USAF.  Participate or represent customer in meetings/discussions with USAF and the foreign country Air Force.
  • Review and critique USAF responses to queries and meeting action items.

 

To Foreign Air Forces:

  • Assist Foreign Air Force and/or Foreign Liaison Officer (FLO) and with day-to-day Security Assistance business.?
    Provide advice on and conduct research into, Security Assistance policy issues.  Will work directly with AFSAC, AFMC, SAF/IA, and DSCA to resolve policy issues.
  • Provide advice on and conduct research into, all areas of logistics support, to include problem resolution and performance improvement.
  • Assist Foreign Air Force and/or FLO with preparation for meetings, working groups, etc.
  • Review and critique USAF responses to Foreign Air Force and/or FLO queries and meeting action items.
  • Represent Foreign Air Force and/or FLO in meetings with USAF on an as required basis.
  • Participate in meetings/discussions with Foreign Air Force and/or FLO and other representatives of the country’s Air Force.
  • Conduct studies and provide reports on FMS case, logistics and financial performance.
